My Smocking History

I grew up wearing smocked dresses that my Mom hand made for me. I still have these dresses today and love them even more every time I look at them. She spent so much time and love making them; they truly are a unique treasure that I hold dear. I feel so privileged to still have handmade dresses from my childhood!
I honestly cannot remember what made me start to smock, other than my own admiration and curiosity. I started smocking a few years ago and instantly fell in love with my new hobby. When my friends began asking me to make dresses for them, I started to think "Why not sell these?" I suppose I did not think about the fact that people want to give a special gift that will last a long time; something unique, and something different. Along with smocking, I revisited my passion for knitting and making jewelry. I absolutely love accessories and wanted to expand on my venture. So, here I am...
I have different outfits and accessories for purchase here. You may also custom order an outfit and/or accessory. Each item is hand made by myself; no two are alike. They make special gifts that, with proper care, can be enjoyed for years to come.
